Infrastructure
The altoHiway network has always been designed around the ethos of providing top quality, highly reliable, high speed connectivity for business and mission critical users.
Our UK network is based around multiple UK sites including secure facilities at Telehouse Europe in London and Telecity in Manchester along with our hosting centres in Newbury.
Backbone connectivity to the outside world is provided through multiple transit connections to multiple providers thereby ensuring the best connectivity and resilience in the event of a transit failure.
To provide additional connectivity altoHiway has peering arrangements through exchanges such as LoNAP along with direct peering with other major ISPs to ensure that data takes the most direct route possible.
At every access point on our network we operate hardware redundancy and have multiple access circuits to give the highest level of resilience. All equipment on our network is monitored 24 hours a day to ensure its correct operation.
